Jocelyn's Aunt Vicky is easily one of my favorite characters I've introduced into this series. She provides a much needed shot of levity to Jocelyn's home life, usually by helping her put one over on her obnoxious dad, and she's just an all-around cool and helpful person. This is the first of what I'm hoping will be many references to her colorful past. This specific incident is based on an actual anecdote from my dad's youth, although he was on the listening end of it. I always wanted to draw on that story for inspiration somehow

Eagle eyed readers will note that I changed Aaron's line in the last panel between when this comic debuted on the site and now. I caught a surprising amount of hell from readers who objected to anyone talking smack about "My Sharona". And the more I thought about it, it really isn't the kind of song Aaron would dislike. After all, he likes pretty much everything.
