With my recent decision to really crack down on getting "Forever 16" published, I'm going to have less time to devote to any other type of art, and that means updates to my gallery for the next month or so are going to be slim. Right?
Wrong! 'Cause just like last year around this time when I had a bunch of stuff on my plate, I've decided to unearth the dozens of sketches and other unfinished works I've done over the last six months or so and share them with the world while I work on more labor-intensive things. Among the things you'll find in the 2010 Sketchdump:
- Concepts for a "Pokémon" story I had an idea for but knew better than to invest too much time on
- Fan art from when I first started watching "American Dad" on a regular basis
- Unfinished "Forever 16" strips, including an unpublished sequence from last year when I was posting the comic on SmackJeeves, as well as tons of revisions of my characters' designs
- "Futurama" character sketches drawn from the "How to Draw" tutorials on the DVDs
- "Kim Possible" sketches that I did in an effort to improve my skill at drawing action poses
- Dozens of random underwater doodles and scenarios, including lots of Maxine Mink stuff
- "Looney Tunes" sketches that I did whenever I was bored
- Samples from a series called My Top 10 Favorite 'Toon Girls that never got past the sketch stage
- And more!
Course, this is just some rambling, good luck with whatever you're doin'.
