- Purchasing the ultra-rare Japanese Pokémon Neo Genesis TCG promo sheet for a mere five bucks
- Meeting Ryan Sohmer and Lar DeSouza, the writer/cartoonist team behind "Least I Could Do" [link] (if I'd known they were gonna be there, I'd have brought Red Bull)
- Learning how to stay in character as a cosplayer (so every time someone took a photo of me in my Satoshi costume, I struck the V for Victory pose)
- Buying the elusive Watchmen "Justice is Coming" smiley face teaser poster
- Witnessing "Don't Stop Believin'" performed on the banjo
But most of all, spending my time with

That concept of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" just sounds EPIC

My friends got some nice photos too. Jade was dressed as Lust from "Fullmetal Alchemist", and she did a great set of battle photos with a guy dressed as Edward Elric. Kara was Mii from a very obscure fanservice anime called "Jungle de Ikou", but a few people still recognized her, despite her belief that nobody would. (The guy at the Media Blasters booth, for instance, knew her right away.)
Hope to see you at Anime boston Next year!
