Trash the Princess - Merida

I'm not entirely sure why this took almost a year to happen. I guess I just needed the proper inspiration: [link] But at long last, as so many people have requested, I've finally plunked Merida underwater - and just as I suspected, it sure was fun to draw that hair!

Brave was kind of underwhelming, but I can't deny that the movie looked beautiful. So I decided to really go all-out on the color for this piece, trying to mimic the earthy tones of the film. Merida's orange hair and blue dress really pop against all that green, and I like the effect I got.
