"Let go of him, you bitch!"

Inspired by what might be the creepiest episode of MST3K ever, 416 "Fire Maidens of Outer Space". Sure, the movie's just as lame as any other, but you gotta admit, Crow's evil twin Timmy was damn spooky.

The black ones were just the puppets they used for film recording I think. Way to re-use the props. lol

Probably my favorite series of host sequences ever!

Well, next to the season 1 "Isaac Asimov Dorksday Device", anyway.

Yeowch! Definitely looks like a good scene to scare. (gulps) Little scary, but intriguing, even though I've never really scene MST3K; only heard of it. I've heard enough to get the general idea of the program, but NOT what takes place when there isn't a movie showing for the crew to roast. Great job on the pic. :-D

Oh, you've gotta get into the show sometime - you don't know what you're missing. If you want a good introductory episode, I recommend any of the following:

303 "Pod People" (available on DVD box set Vol. 2)
424 "Manos: The Hands of Fate" (available on 2-disc set "The Essentials")
519 "Outlaw" (available through non-commercial tape traders)
820 "Space Mutiny" (available on DVD box set Vol. 4)

One of the most hilarious series ever. I've only seen the movie and essentials though. Great job showing emotion in Crow and mirroring him. Almost looks like you just flipped the image. *lols at servo in the back* I'm going to finish building him one of these days.

Where did Timmy come from? o.o That was one of the few MSTies I haven't seen. I've heard of him and saw the puppet before but I never saw the background story. ;~;

In a nutshell: Joel re-enacts the whole "silhouette" thing from the "Posture Pals" short shown in 320 "The Unearthly", and Timmy emerges from Crow's shadow as the "friend" that Crow prayed for. He only speaks in whispers to Crow, and it's quickly revealed that he's pure evil when he attacks Servo in the theater, leading to the above scene: Servo is pinned to the wall with ectoplasm ("Kill me...kill me...uh, Crow, would you mind killin' me?"), and Crow and Timmy are locked in a fight to the death. Joel grabs Timmy with a broom and shoots him out the airlock.

Describing it doesn't really give you the whole picture, though - seeing Timmy very slowly creep up in the theater two seats over from Servo is disturbingly spooky.

That...is so...AWESOME! If I was gonna draw any one scene from MST3K, this would definitely be one of the first ones that would come to mind. Hooray for bad-ass Joel! And Timmy is truly creepy.

For those of you who don't know the episode, it starts off with Crow saying that he "wished for a friend, and he appeared, isn't that great?" "Um, isn't that a little preternatural, Crow...?"
But Crow isn't worried, despite Timmy's increasingly nastier and creepier behaviour in the earlier host segments. Finally he sneaks into the theater with them (somehow, even though all those doors are closed!) and watches the movie quietly for a bit, but then starts getting more and more annoying...and then finally _aggressive_ towards Tom Servo, attacking him repeatedly.

When we get to the next host segment, Tom is glued to the wall ala "Aliens", red alert lights are flashing, and Crow and Timmy are fighting. Then Joel comes in and you get the scene shown here.
