The Tuna Who Came To Dinner

Between commissions, I also had a number of trades to fulfill. This one is for my good buddy and unabashed art admirer . Her request was simple - something, anything, involving a tuna. And never let it be said that I don't deliver.

I thought about what I could do with this - obviously, I didn't want to just draw a tuna and leave it at that. I already have a fish character, Satchmo Salmon, so I tried to work around that. Thus, I produced a new cartoon idea for a 1956 BarbozaToon wherein Satchmo's annoying cousin Tyrone Tuna comes to visit and makes the poor salmon's life a living hell. Eventually, Satchmo is driven to attempt to throw him out and even kill him, but to no avail.
