I wonder how many "Lord of the Rings" geeks I fooled with that title.
In 2005, I was a little disappointed when I found out that "Family Guy" was getting revived instead of "Futurama". I was even more disappointed when I saw how badly the new "Family Guy" episodes suck. But now, with the direct-to-DVD release of Bender's Big Score just over a month away, and with new episodes coming to Comedy Central in 2008, I feel justice has been done. After all, even before the revival, I felt the lowbrow antics of "Family Guy" were child's play compared to the brilliant humor and solid emotion of "Futurama". It's nice to know that they finally brought back the one cancelled FOX show that actually deserved to be resuscitated. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. Ye gods, I loved that show.
I noticed after a few episodes that Family Guy didn't nearly have as much going for it as the old episodes. Now it just seems to be all jokes in low humor. >.>
