The Mystery of the Missing Dolphin

It's now gotten to the point where I'm actively searching for old drawings to remake in my current style. And much like the last drawing I uploaded, this one's based on a childhood memory.

Back in 2008, you might remember I did a piece based on "The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo", a Nickelodeon show from the '90s that was largely responsible for my current interest in underwater scenes. jbwarner86.deviantart.com/art/... I wanted to remake it because I think my skills with posing, facial construction, color, and background design have gotten a lot better in the last five years. And since the original piece obviously has a connection to my past, I felt like I owed it to myself to take another crack at Shelby's perilous escape from the aquarium.
