I saw this episode for the first time a few weeks ago, and I was wondering where the line "Shut up Iris" from Deadly Mantis had come from. Not only that, Mooney's lines for once he totally loses it are, while although overacted, are lots of fun to listen to.

The film's stinger was great too. Mooney throws a gun, apparently hoping it'd do more damage than actually pulling the trigger, lol.

Ah, yes, the "Beatniks". Technically my true very first intro to MST3K...though I didn't know its full greatness at the time and changed the channel after seeing only a few minutes. The bit that I saw made me _laugh_, however, and want to look up the show more seriously. The first episode I saw most of the way through was "Crash of the Moons" not long after, but that's a story for another day...

Anyway, my first riff was from this episode: "Watch out! Next time I'll _hit_ you." during a cheesy "fight" scene in which one character swung at another and you could SEE about a foot of air in between them during the "punch". Then everybody in my family cracked up. I may not have gotten the words exactly right, but...yeah. Good times.
