SD14 - Nitemare Hippy Girl

Back when I was trying to do Nineteen-Ninety-Something as a collection of short stories instead of a daily comic, I thought about doing abstract-ish conceptual chapter illustrations for each story, like AdamWarren does for Empowered. This would have been the one for the extremely popular story I did where Joel goes on an ill-fated date with horny New Age girl Denise Holbrook. Folks asked if they’d ever see her underwater – I think swimming around a giant lava lamp is close enough

And that about wraps up 2014, I think. Both the first and last deviations I submitted this year featured my original characters underwater. Nice way to bookend the year, I think. Stay tuned for big things in 2015!
