"Not to be confused with Bill or Jeff or Pete or Dennis My name is Mud, it's always been..." -- Primus, off the Pork Soda album, 1993
The Pixar portfolio continues to grow, and it's sparking my creative juices like nobody's business! I got a big idea for the "Maxwell Silver Hammer" gang - if I play my cards right and get a full-time job at Pixar Studios, I want some movie concepts to pitch, and my idea for Joel and his buddies is a feature tentatively titled '94. It tells the story (slightly modified from the currently established MSH cannon) of the summer of 1994 when Westworld's bassist splits, the group hires Jocelyn, and Aaron and Steve's friendship is nearly torn apart as they both vie for her affections.
The story culminates with a trip from Minneapolis to Saugerties, New York for Woodstock '94, which is where this scene takes place. Joel wins a four-pack of tickets to the concert event and plans to bring his bandmates with him, but Aaron refuses to go - he's holding a grudge against Steve for being the one whom Jocelyn chose to go out with - and Joel invites Michelle instead, turning the trip into a double date. The friends get caught in the mud riot that erupts during Green Day's set, but Aaron arrives, having had a change of heart and driven the entire 20-hour drive to apologize in person, and rescues them from the mob. Security chases Aaron for sneaking in without a ticket, and the five of them escape to the backstage area - where, shock of shocks, they come face to face with Green Day themselves (with Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool guest voicing as themselves, of course!). This is that shining moment when the kids realize where they've hidden and who they're hiding with.
I have other concepts for this movie boiling away in my cerebrum - for instance, a humorous yet heartwarming subplot where Abby devotes her entire summer to trying to get just one kiss from Joel. I love writing for these characters!
I just adore their expressions in this it so gives off the "OMG it's my IDOLS!" look so well ^^ just great work and nice story that goes with it too

Great work, I hope that you get this movie through, though I'm afraid they'll want to make it more "for the kids" or "for the family", but Pixar has done some interesting risks before, and their newest movie looks like a good one (the movie UP), though I'm a tad disapointed that they have yet to make a movie with a female lead as of yet, though I heard they are working on one for the moment.
I'd love to see that movie, and the work here looks great. And build that portfolio up, I'm trying to do the same with my own.
Also a fun way to throw in that Mudd Jeans were the choice pants of girls that had parents on a budget (who didn't?) in the 90s. Mudds are always cheap at T.J. Maxx and DEB, heck, 13 years later they still sell that line.
Aww no, what happened to them Jocelyn's boots are ruined! <=3

Nearly all of us, if not every single one of us, have come across a deviation that just has a disappointing '...'. Conversely, some of us have even come across a massive wall of text.
Whether we are the people who ask ourselves, "Is that it?", or whether we are the people who ask ourselves, "What can I say?", this guide will hopefully provide you with some insight in how to go about writing a good description for your deviations, a.k.a. your Artist's (or Author's) Comments.
