Anybody who knows my underwater artwork is probably aware of the influence that photographer Mick Gleissner has had on me over the past six or seven years. The guy's knack for unique underwater concepts is a huge inspiration to me (here, check out his stuff: [link] ). Case in point: my latest mini-series of underwater fan art, depicting some of my favorite animated females posing for Mick-style underwater portraits. First up is Kim Possible, all smiles among the reefs of the Philippine Islands, no doubt keeping a sharp eye out for any and all bad guys intent on crashing the photo shoot.
I love how you draw Kim - in a mix of your style and the original show style. Lovely job on the hair; it looks very natural. And the pose is so cute and typical of KP.
No, she's right on the sea floor. Mick almost always photographs his models at the very bottom of the ocean - with safety divers on hand to give 'em air between shots, of course
