As most MSTies tend to do, I often think of ways that "Mystery Science Theater 3000" could possibly be revived. One that seems like it'd be the most fun would be as an animated series. Same concept, same two-hour time slot, same characters and actors, same writing staff, same kinds of crummy movies, but with animated host segments and an animated shadowrama. Of course, it's something of a pipe dream, since the Brains are all into different projects now and it'd be hell trying to produce two hours of quality animation on a weekly basis, but it's fun to think about...
Here's a mock-up magazine ad to promote the series. The way I'd do it, MST3K:TAS would run for ten seasons, same as the original series, but going backwards through the show's chronology. That is, Seasons 1-3 feature Mike, Servo, and Crow being tormented by Pearl, Bobo, and Observer (with Bill Corbett doing the voice of Crow). In the six-episode Season 4, Bobo and Observer get replaced with the revived Dr. Forrester, and Crow's voice changes back to that of Trace Beaulieu. At the start of Season 5, Dr. F rises up against his mother and replaces her with TV's Frank. Then halfway through Season 6, Mike escapes the Satellite of Love and gets replaced by Joel. Thus it remains until Season 10, when Frank gets replaced by Dr. Erhardt and Servo's voice goes back to that of Josh Weinstein.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, FCTV is the name of a cable network I've designed for Gryphon Pictures that would play home to all those classic cult favorites that got cancelled before their time. Reviving MST3K would be right up their alley.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

MST3K will be back some day in some form. I mean, there's always going to be really bad movies that deserve their treatment.
