I've already drawn Michelle's origin story from November 1991, and I recently felt compelled to show how another character joined the main cast. Abby's introduction begins on February 11, 1991 and runs for three weeks, so there's more to come. I've discussed this story at length before, but now that I've sat down and started drawing it, I'm actually quite proud of how it's turning out! :)

I just adore how naturally your characters and their stories are flowing from one another, so different compared to the usual "young love" from so many high school sitcoms / dramas / movies plastered about.

It says "Dear Joel, I think you're cute. Please go out with me on Valentine's Day. Love, Abby." I wrote it with my left hand.

Careful here. If you play this wrong, you have fans wishing Michelle would die and Joel would french Abby.

I've grown rather fond of the Joel/Michelle relationship and wish this not to happen.

Don't worry, I remember what you told me a few years ago, and I've altered Abby's character accordingly. Abby's attraction to Joel isn't genuine romance; she's just desperate and afraid of being alone, and latches on to the first single guy she notices. When Michelle starts dating him, Abby only keeps up her pursuit out of fanaticism. Hopefully, this'll encourage the reader not to root for Abby to win Joel's heart, but for her to grow up a bit and realize what true love really is.
