F16 - Lift Those Eyebrows

This is the first strip to spotlight Kendra, and I struggled with her for a while in trying to decide what I wanted to do with her. Ultimately, I hit on the idea of making her the artist in the group - and that made me realize that she could also be a huge animation geek, like me. But rather than just have her mirror my own opinions, I made her an exaggeration of some of the more extreme rants and raves I've seen on the ToonZone forum and elsewhere.

Personally, my only beef with DreamWorks is that a lot of their films that I've seen are boring, but I've also encountered a number of people clamoring that Megamind is just DreamWorks' answer to The Incredibles. Since accusing DreamWorks of ripping off Pixar is a running theme among certain animation fanatics, it seemed like a good chance for Kendra to make her first official appearance.
