This story, spanning from October 28 to November 2, 2002, took a lot more work than I initially thought it would - I wrote it, read it over a few times, then threw it out and rewrote the whole thing. The first draft played Jocelyn's entrapped situation like a legitimate horror movie... but as a result, it wasn't funny. I played up the humor the second time around, and I'm much more satisfied with the final version.

By this point in the strip, the kids are all doing that thing where their Halloween costumes reflect the popular culture of the past year. How many cultural icons from 2002 can you identify at the party?

Kendra as Lilo - may have been mentioned already, but it's genius and suits her character. Likewise with the storyline's outcome :)

Hah! You sure know how to engage a reader into a story. Great humor used, too.
