As an artist, it's hard to keep from looking back at some of my old work and going "Ew, do-over!" Like this scene of Joel and Michelle going for a swim together [link] , which I drew just two years ago and I already can't help cringing at. Look at the eyes! Aagh!

Anyway, as I've been doing a lot lately with my Forever 16 stuff, I thought I'd take another crack at it. I'm sure I'll look at this in another two years and find stuff to criticize, but for now, I think it came out a lot better. :)

I know whatcha mean, dude. I feel as though I'm actually improving, and looking back at my old stuff, I wonder how could I used to draw so badly. I still has a way to go, though, I guess it's to be expected. Y'know, experience and all that. lol

The pic definitely came out a little nice. I still like the other pic as well, though.:)

I completely understand how you feel when it comes to old pics. I still got alot more crap to put into storage and delete.

I also noticed with this pic that their body types are less cartoony than your regular work. :)

I like both myself. The other one with them kissing in the deep end was pretty cool, too. Just make sure people keep "Rule 34" out of the discussion and you'll do just fine. :)

Indeed; I remember someone once asked if they'd ever see Rule 34 for my Forever 16 characters, and I straight-up told 'em "Absolutely not".
