Sean and Evan didn’t need to be told twice. The kids bolted down the street, with the wolf hot on their heels. Sean could hear its grunting snarls getting closer behind him.

“Split up!” he yelped as they reached a four-way intersection. “It can’t follow all three of us!”

Evan ducked left; Andy went right. Sean charged straight on ahead, running flat-out, faster than he’d ever moved in his life. A stitch was pounding in his side, but he didn’t dare slow down.

All he could see was the s-bend of the sink and an assortment of cleaning supplies. Nothing else out of the ordinary.

But something down here was definitely breathing. It was faint, but it was still audible.

For a split second, Sean instinctively thought of feeling around in the darkness, but he quickly decided that was a very stupid thing to do. Something very wrong and very scary was going on here, and he needed to get help right away.

Its body was hairy and ape-like, but it had the head and neck of a vicious lizard. It bared its razor-sharp teeth and growled, drooling on the floor of the closet, glaring menacingly at Sean.

Sean couldn’t move. He was paralyzed with fright.

And then the monster reared back and roared, spraying globs of spit in Sean’s face.

This reminds me alot of how Conan O'Brien is like on his show at night as of lately, now that the show isn't scripted.

He has to make filler for the whole 30 minutes as possibly as he can.
