Bubbly Personalities

Another Off the Deep End quickie. Spencer being awesome, and Brenda being awkward.

I wish I had more opportunity to write stories with these two. Originally, I was gonna have Spencer be oblivious to Brenda's crush on him, but then I thought "Nah, that's been done to death, and Spencer's definitely not that stupid." So I imagine he likes her too, especially her creativity and imagination, but he's a little wary about being too forward about it 'cause he's so adventurous and outgoing and Brenda's really shy and intimidated by new experiences - he doesn't want to make her uncomfortable. But Brenda actually wants to step outside her comfort zone and try new things if it'll let her hang out with Spencer, which is why she tries underwater modeling with him, even though she's totally awkward underwater. Spencer knows that, though, so he's there to help her loosen up, and she really appreciates that.

If I ever have time between Nineteen-Ninety-Something strips, I bet I could write some really sweet stories about these two
