Another old Forever 16 remake - and this is actually my third take on this scene! My first color drawing of Abby was way back in 2007 [link] , and I mentioned I wanted to introduce her in a story where she falls in the school swimming pool and needs to be rescued. But I've reworked that story a lot since I first thought it up - now, instead of her shoelace getting stuck in the filter, she sinks to the bottom under the weight of her backpack. I drew that just last year [link] , but I've revised Abby's character design yet again since then, so I thought I'd do one more update. Plus, I'm a lot more proud of this pose, which I think does a better job of conveying a sense of weight on the poor girl's back.

As for her gallant rescuer...well, that'd give away the ending of the story, wouldn't it?

Comparing those two previous works to this one really shows how far you've developed your arts, characters and storytelling. Colour me impressed three times!

Awesome, man! :D Abby's look has definitely been updated! I also really like the pose. Really indicates the situation. :nod:

Oh and I already know she gets rescued by Joel, so I won't bother calling Zoey in.

Zoey: -_-... Aw nuts. Really was looking forward to saving the day.
